Pon Power and AMS sign cooperation contract
Pon Power AS and Anlegg og Marine Service AS (AMS) are pleased to announce that AMS has been awarded Authorized Marine Dealer (AMD) status for CAT parts and service.
- We are proud to announce that we are now entering into a closer collaboration with Anlegg og Marine Service. For Pon Power, this means that we can offer an expanded service network for our customers in the form of local availability of parts and service along the coast in Stavanger and Bergen.

AMS's head office is located in Tananger, where they have a purpose-built engine workshop. The building has a workshop, separate rooms for component service and overhaul, two engine brakes (640 and 1900kW), warehouse, classrooms and offices. AMS's activities in Bergen have recently been re-established at Ågotnes, where they have a building with an engine workshop and offices.
AMS specializes in the sale, repair, maintenance, modification and overhaul of engines for the marine, offshore and construction industries. They are a multi-brand diesel competence center, where CAT engines make up a significant part of the activity.

About Pon Power:
Pon Power is the sole distributor of CAT engines and generator sets in Norway. Typical applications are propulsion motors, auxiliary motors and generator sets, with a power range from 6.4 to 5420 kW. We supply primary and emergency power to the maritime sector, oil and gas installations and land-based industry. Pon Power has 150 employees, of which one third are field service mechanics.
