AMS gets frigate assignment

AMS is the supplier of engine services to CCB in the consortium led by Kongsberg Naval Services, which was awarded the strategic framework agreement for maintenance and upgrading of the Norwegian frigates on Monday, August 4. This means that AMS will be responsible for the repair, overhaul and modification of propulsion and energy conversion systems on the frigates for a long time to come.

Executive Vice President in CCB, Jan-Dagfinn Lund, stated in a press release:

"This contract is an important step in realizing our ambitions to become a long-term partner with the Norwegian Navy. The agreement will help to secure jobs not only at CCB but also among our many local subcontractors.

AMS is proud and pleased to be a supplier to CCB and the Norwegian Nansen-class frigates for many years to come. We possess the expertise and experience needed to provide services to the Norwegian Defense Materiel and Navy in a safe, sound and efficient manner.
