Collaboration between Anlegg og Marine Service AS and Sotra Contracting AS
Anlegg og Marine Service (AMS) and Sotra Contracting (SOCON) have entered into a cooperation agreement to provide complementary maritime repair and maintenance services at Ågotnes/Vindenes, centrally located in the Hjeltefjord basin. The companies' customers will thus receive a broader and more complete offering, in the same place and at the same time.

Through the established collaboration, the companies will be able to offer customers complete deliveries of maintenance, repairs, overhauls and modifications of commercial vessels. AMS can provide service, overhaul, repair, modification and conversion of most types of engines, generators and transmissions. SOCON can provide sheet metal, pipe and welding work, for which they hold a number of certifications. At Vindenes, SOCON has a quayside facility with water, shore power and an environmental station. The 40 meter long ISPS quay has a water depth of 10 meters. The second quay is 50 meters long, with a water depth of 6 meters.

We also work with propeller systems, generator sets, starters and other mechanical equipment. The company has a large selection of parts, filters and accessories in stock. SOCON has carried out countless assignments on board ocean-going fishing fleets, fish farming vessels, freighters, supply and anchor handlers and SURF vessels over the past 40 years. Disciplines include piping, structure, plate, hull, deck equipment and on-board processing facilities.
