Anlegg og Marine Service awarded ConocoPhillips' "Supplier Recognition Award 2020"
Anlegg og Marine Service (AMS) is proud and humbled to have been awarded ConocoPhillips' Supplier Recognition Award for 2020 in the category "Doing business better". AMS is one of eight companies globally to receive the award for 2020. The presentation took place during a ceremony at AMS' premises in Tananger on June 21.
The award was presented by Steinar Våge, President Europe, Middle East and North Africa ConocoPhillips (second from left). CEO of AMS, Trond Olsen, received the award on behalf of the company. Founder, Asbjørn Pedersen, received flowers.
The award is based on a request from ConocoPhillips due to challenges with the surface temperature of some older fire pump engines. We worked closely with their experts and came up with a solution where we rebuilt the engines with a water-cooled turbo. In addition, other components were insulated. Through dialog and good cooperation with ConocoPhillips, we have extended the life of these engines.
AMS is very grateful for the assignments we receive, where we can use and develop our expertise and strengthen our position as a center of excellence for diesel engines.
Anlegg og Marine Service is based in Tananger. We are 26 people, 17 of whom are mechanics who travel around Norway and the world. We have a state-of-the-art engine workshop, where we have our own engine brake for testing engines up to 1900 kW.
Our extensive parts warehouse can always deliver spare parts at short notice. After 35 years in the industry, we have a solid global network to source both parts and tools.
Original parts for Caterpillar and Cummins can usually be obtained within 24 hours if we do not have the parts in stock. All parts we sell are original and come with standard factory/OEM warranty.
